In this session, we’ll cover some of the most repetitive complaints encountered when converting projects (and people) to Maven and either why you should embrace those constraints or which tools are provided to work around them. General framework, phases, mojos, advanced dependency management and multi-module projects and will be the among the general topics discussed. For those seeking adoption in the workplace, we’ll also cover a few strategies for organizing rollout and gaining traction.

There will be time allotted for questions throughout the talk, unless you’ve got a rotten tomato in your hand. Hopefully you’ll leave with a deeper understanding of Maven or a profound guilt for disliking Maven and letting a perfectly good tomato spoil.
