Preparing for the Next Geomagnetic Reversal

Everyone knows that the upward direction on a map is north... but what if you wake up tomorrow and north ceases to be north? would you flip your map or just switch the needle you follow on your compass?

A little known fact that is rarely discussed is that the earth has regular polar pole reversals and our current understanding is that the reversal is overdue. This should be a fun session on a topic that I have found interesting for years; magnetic pole reversal. We'll discuss the evidence, the predictions and speculate on the fallout.
