No conference is immune from logistical issues. We've had one speaker cancellation recently - Guillaume Laforge from SpringSource will be unable to make it to talk about the future of Groovy. I was really disappointed to hear this but stuff happens.

On the upside, I've found a great replacement - Jesse Wilson (@jessewilson) from Google will be replacing Guillaume to talk about Dependency Injection for device, web and server. Jesse Wilson is the lead for Guice 2.0, so he knows what he's talking about. You may also know Jesse from his fabulous work on Glazed Lists, a project that makes working with tabular data in Swing bearable.
